Manager / Senior Manager, Investments & Asset Management (India)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As part of the Investments and Asset Management team, reporting to the Head of Investments and Asset Management, India, you will assist in real estate acquisitions, M&A opportunities, asset management strategies for the India portfolio, and group-wide investor relations support.

 

  • Preparation and presentation of Investment memos/presentations for the acquisitions.
  • Work with portfolio companies on asset management including oversight of existing portfolio assets and integral involvement in new development assets or expansion plans.
  • Coordinate investor relations activities at the group level, which includes preparing investor presentations, coordinating with various teams, managing investor communications, and supporting investor meetings and events.
  • Evaluating investment opportunities and supporting in structuring/executing the acquisition of data centre assets/DC operating companies.
  • Prepare and review financial model to assess/support acquisitions, presenting financial analysis to key internal stakeholders.
  • Work with in-house counsel and Lead to manage legal advisor(s), review legal terms within the legal documentation related to acquisitions alongside external legal counsels in the various jurisdictions.
  • Collaborating closely with tax advisors to structure transactions, including conducting stamp duty analysis and utilizing offshore tax entities or other jurisdictions as needed.
  • Conducting sector research to keep apprised of updated trends and market news/information including the review and analysis of financials, market information and analyst reports from various industry resources.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Banking or equivalent
  • CFA / CPA qualification
  • Experience & exposure to the data centre and/or real estate sector(s) will be strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in in-house corporate finance, investment management, investment banking, merger & acquisitions, and deal execution
  • Possess good knowledge and experiences to be able to successfully navigate complexities of business relations.
  • Strong technical skill sets such as financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence (e.g., legal, technical, commercial, financial).
  • Advanced skills in excel would be a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Independent and able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work effectively across various stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
